Private individual sessions for children aged 3 months -3 years
who have physical challenges due to Cerebral Palsy or
damage to the central nervous system.

About me

Hi there, my name is Ildi Dittrich, but please call me Ildi.

I’m a conductive education practitioner with over 25 years of experience working with babies, toddlers, and young children who have gross and fine motor challenges.

The children I work with have typically been affected by Cerebral Palsy or developmental delays caused by damage to the central nervous system (CNS) during or after birth. I love to help families see their children overcoming their challenges and starting to reach their developmental milestones.

I would love to meet you and your little one, so please feel free to book a free assessment so we can see if I'm the right fit for your child's needs.

What we do

Free Child Assessment

Every child comes with their own unique set of strengths and weaknesses. It's important to evaluate case-by-case whether Conductive Therapy is right for your child, and what sessions would look like for them.

Individual Sessions

There are multiple options you can choose for your child. During your assessment we will be able to identify the length and cadence of those sessions to meet your child's needs. From as little as 30 minutes to longer 1 hour sessions.

Session Bundles

At Early Movement Therapy we understand the need to provide your child with what they need, keeping an eye on the overall family budget. We offer different bundles depending on session lengths to help you in the long run.

What is conductive therapy?

Why we do things our way

Conductive education is a comprehensive method of learning by which individuals with neurological and mobility impairment learn to specifically and consciously perform actions that children without such impairment learn through normal life experiences (Source: www.cerebralpalsy.org)

This method is task-oriented and takes into consideration the extra challenges and needs of those affected by Cerebral Palsy or other disorders that affect the brain.

It is not just therapy, nor a treatment: it is a complete method of learning based on the concept of motor learning, neuroplasticity, and orthofunction.

More importantly, it assumes the individual is a whole person with infinite capabilities, desires and potential.
